Senior Technical Product Manager – eCommerce

Position Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Technical Product Manager that is passionate about creating high quality web-based and mobile experiences. The eCommerce product team consists of individuals that tackle problems head on and own their solutions. Improving the on-site experience for our customers is what drives us, while balancing the need to drive business results. To be successful as a member of this team, one needs to have strong technical literacy, be customer focused, passionate about building great products that solve real issues, and analytical enough to determine when success has been achieved.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with business, product and marketing leaders to define product and technology requirements
  • Work closely with the CTO to establish technical strategy
  • Develop and champion a product vision, strategy, and roadmap for a product area based on technology trends, commerce trends and  corporate goals and objectives
  • Create and manage the core commerce roadmap that drive relevant KPIs
  • Define detailed use cases, product requirements, and technical specs
  • Understand and interpret data to develop hypotheses, define experiments to prove (or disprove) them and carry them through to their conclusion
  • Lead product team in discovery, design, implementation, and measurement of new product features using a Design Thinking approach
  • Manage vendor relations with regard to external services, build vs buy
  • Drive release planning activities
  • Ensure quality products are being delivered to customers
  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere that strengthens the team
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned

About You:

  • BA/BS, Related technical field or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years product management experience
  • Passion for eCommerce, customer advocacy and building amazing products
  • Product management and/or product design experience with a web based product
  • Strong technical literacy and ability to drive products from ideation to shipment
  • Exceptional analytical skills to support data driven decision making
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Exceptional organization, communication and presentation skills
  • Comfortable working with remote teams
  • Experience managing and leading a team to meet aggressive goals
