Part-time Clinical Faculty position

The Department of Kinesiology and Nutrition at the University of Illinois at Chicago seeks a part-time Clinical Assistant Professor for teaching undergraduate students in the area of Motor Control and Learning and Movement Neuroscience beginning August 2018. The individual will teach 2 lecture sections of a 300-level Motor Control and Learning course as well as 1 lecture section of a 400-level Movement Neuroscience course.

Candidates are required to have a PhD in Kinesiology or a closely-related field and have 3 years teaching experience in higher education.

The successful candidate will have a personal and professional commitment toward teaching and student growth, along with experience working in the field with diverse populations. They should be comfortable with the use of technology for online teaching; possess strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills; and work well in a team environment.
