["Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:\r\n•\tCollaborate with Sector Associate Dean, Dean’s Office staff, department chairs, and sector staff to ensure efficient and effective operations \r\n•\tRange of operational activities primarily includes those related to finance (including travel and procurement), HR, course scheduling, academic advising, research support, student services (admissions, graduation, etc.), communications, and event management.\r\n•\tEnsure that staff support services to sector constituents (faculty, staff, students) are provided efficiently, consistently, and with a focus on customer service.", "Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:\r\n•\tServe as the supervisor of record for staff within the sector, including functional team leaders who each may supervise a number of professional and classified staff. He/she will serve as the liaison between administrative staff and the Associate Dean.\r\n•\tInitially, a significant amount of time will be dedicated to determining specific work assignments for staff within each sector, working with individual staff members, the Associate Dean, and other members of the Dean’s Office.\r\n•\tFacilitate regular staff meetings.\r\n•\tOversee performance program and performance evaluation process for all sector staff working with intermediate supervisors to ensure that all staff have timely and constructive evaluations and programs on file. \r\n•\tSeek out professional development and growth opportunities for sector staff. Work with Associate Dean, CAS HR, and central offices including Employee Relations to address and resolve employee relations issues. \r\n•\tReview departmental administrative process to ensure adherence to University and College policies and procedures. Implement processes with an eye toward efficiency and best practices.\r\n•\tServe on Department, College or University committees as appropriate.
