["Utilize strong foundation of career and student development theory to:\r\n•\tLead assigned Career Community planning process and cultivate initiatives for students to explore options, learn about post-graduation opportunities, and connect with alumni and employers. \r\n•\tDesign and lead strategic planning for additional Career Education initiative as assigned.\r\n•\tProvide career coaching to diverse population of students one-on-one and in groups on all aspects of the career design process. \r\n•\tUtilize career assessments and other interactive tools and technology to facilitate student self-reflection and support planning around major/career decision-making.\r\n•\tDesign and present workshops and educational programs for students in collaboration with academic departments, student clubs and other university partners.\r\n•\tProvide education regarding career competencies and partner to achieve intentional integration of competencies within academic units.\r\n•\tPartner with faculty\\staff to integrate career development and professional skill building into departmental initiatives. \r\n•\tDevelop educational content including blogs, video and website content to support Career Community initiative.\r\n•\tCollaborate with Connections team to integrate employer and alumni partners into related Career Community programming.\r\n•\tCollaborate with Career Services team members to develop and implement innovative strategies to increase student engagement in Career Community activities and deliver cutting edge programming.\r\n•\tSupervise graduate students and potentially professional staff members focusing on Career Education initiatives as assigned.", "•\tDevelop, maintain and expand partnerships and relationships with academic and administrative units to cultivate university-wide commitment to career development and student success.\r\n•\tUtilize strategic outreach to target opportunity areas for programmatic collaboration.\r\n•\tServe as a resource for faculty and administration regarding industry and recruiting trends.\r\n•\tCultivate the expertise of faculty as key partners to understand curriculum content, industry trends and key skills required of students within specific industries.\r\n•\tConsistently record notes of relationship building and engagement activities with assigned academic units per departmental tracking guidelines to inform outreach strategy outcomes.", "•\tStay abreast of local, national and international workforce awareness in assigned industries/sectors incorporating industry knowledge into work with constituencies. \r\n•\tContribute to the departmental employer cultivation, record keeping and contact tracking strategy designed to strategically cultivate and increase the number of prospective employers. \r\n•\tIncrease employer awareness and use of the Bullseye powered by Handshake online platform.", "•\tMaintain a working knowledge of student and employer facing technology tools to effectively assist colleagues and constituents in maximizing the use of each tool while increasing the number of student users (tools include, but are not limited to, Asana, Handshake, Big Interview, Focus 2, VMock, and Career Connector Network).", "•\tSupport the departmental effort to adopt and execute data management best practices and processes based on high-quality data sets.\r\n•\tGain an understanding of departmental analytics contributing to a data-literate culture, learning best practices and data strategies in order to make and influence data-informed decisions.\r\n•\tResearch industry trends and develop industry related knowledge and competence, particularly around assigned Career Community.", "•\tEnsure ongoing learning and development of skills including technology trends, educational technology, accessibility, budgeting, and data analysis.\r\n•\tAttend local, regional and national conferences to obtain best practice information and apply to present at same conferences.", "•\tConduct other duties as assigned to meet the needs of the Department."]
